Audit trail

Proof of every action, on every document

BunnyDoc records each step of the signing process in a court-admissible audit trail, from the moment you send a document to the moment the last person signs. It's included on every plan, including the free one.

Why The Best Electronic Signature Software BunnyDoc Deserves The Limelight
What is an audit trail?

The record that makes an eSignature hold up

An audit trail (sometimes called a certificate of completion) is a log that travels with a signed document. It shows who was asked to sign, when each person received, opened and signed the document, and how they were identified. If a signature is ever questioned, the audit trail is the evidence that it was made by the right person at the right time.

Electronic signature laws such as the ESIGN Act and UETA in the US and eIDAS in the EU focus on exactly this: showing the signer's intent and keeping a reliable record. BunnyDoc creates that record automatically for every document you send.

Security

Backed by security you can explain to a client

The audit trail is one part of how BunnyDoc protects your documents. Data is stored encrypted, passwords are never stored as plain text, accounts can use two-factor authentication and you can ask signers for a passcode before they open a document. Signing sessions time out if they are left unfinished.
