Is electronic signature legal in Saudi Arabia?

Legal

Yes, with some exceptions. Saudi Arabia's Electronic Transactions Law (2007) states that an electronic signature generated under the law is equal to a handwritten signature with the same legal effects. Personal status matters and deeds for real estate dispositions are excluded unless the responsible authority approves electronic processing.
